We will only your vehicle adjust if required, the front toe or track adjustment will be set back to the manufacturer's original specifications with our 8 camera alignment equipment. This will drastically reduce tyre and suspension wear, improve handling and increase your fuel economy.
Very similar to the results with a front ‘toe/track’ wheel alignment, except we more and more frequently see badly ‘feathered’ and out of shape tyres on the rear due to overlooked rear wheel alignment.
Front and rear axles will be adjusted to meet the exact manufacturer specifications, this is for the toe/track adjustments (the most common) for caster and camber adjustments with the same accuracy we will consult you first about any requirements or costs.
So what is Wheel Alignment?
Wheel alignment or tracking is the process of checking and adjusting your vehicle's wheels angle to the optimum position, which is specified by the manufacturer. Misaligned wheels can cause uneven and rapid tyre wear, and ultimately affect the handling and safety of a vehicle as well as cost you money on fuel and tyres!
How do I know my alignment is out?
Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to tell without using accurate equipment to check, however, we will always provide you with a before and after print out of your vehicle so you can see exactly what’s changed. Here are a few bits to watch out for that can give it away:
- Uneven tyre wear
- Rapid tyre wear
- Screeching when cornering or driving
- Vehicle pulling to one side when driving
- Steering wheel not sitting level
At CSN Autos we believe in offering the best possible service we can. For that reason we invested in one of the best wheel alignment systems on the market and a brand new purpose-designed ramp to suit, we use the Techalimit 8 camera CCD computerised alignment system. We could have gone for cheaper laser or laser and flag equipment but quite simply they’re not accurate enough and are frankly a lot harder to use! Some early tracking equipment would mean having to check and recheck wheels and do calculations throughout just to get the front wheel track within a few degrees. Our system does all this for us completely automatically and ensures the adjustments are pinpoint accurate. These cheaper tools would often result in correction of pulling but the tracking would be incorrect as the rear wheels had corrupted the measurement and the technician hadn’t taken this into consideration. Our equipment and trained technicians help ensure you get the best alignment for the money, saving you money.
Not all vehicles have rear toe adjustments due to their design, but we will happily advise you on this and never charge you if this is the case.
Feel free to sit in our new office and watch the angles change before your eyes on our live fed screen showing you exactly what our technicians can see, each adjustment will take proximity 30 mins.
